South of Agadir the tracks run through Berber villages and out onto dunes by the ocean at Tifnit. Bring sunglasses; you'll get sand everywhere.

South of the city, through a Berber village and onto the dunes by Tifnit beach. About 90 minutes of riding, briefing first.

Two-seat buggies through forest and dunes with a mint-tea stop. Morning or afternoon; good with kids beside you.

Sandboarding
Boards and a big dune. Best paired with the quads — ask us.

The Little Desert by 4x4
Dunes and a short camel ride, the Souss-Massa coast, lunch in a Berber family's home, then the old medina of Tiznit. Out 08:30, back around 17:30.

Salt water
Agadir lives on its bay. Get on it, get in it, or follow the coast south for a long day by the sea.

Twenty minutes, half an hour or a full hour on Agadir bay.

Boat trip: fish, swim, lunch
Out from the marina with fishing gear on board, a swim stop, then fish grilled on deck with Moroccan salad. Back at your hotel early afternoon.

Beginner and intermediate lessons, with pickup from your hotel in Agadir. Kids from about seven — ask us.

Legzira & Massa, with lunch
Aglou beach, free time on Legzira's red-cliff beach, a fish lunch by the ocean, home via Tiznit and the dunes. Out 08:00, back around 18:00.

Hooves, humps & crocodiles
Camels and horses out to the Souss river, where flamingos feed in the shallows. And for the kids, a park full of Nile crocodiles.

From the ranch out to the river and the flamingos, past eucalyptus and a glimpse of the royal palace.

Two hours on a camel to the river mouth, then dinner: barbecue, tagine or vegetarian.

Along the Souss river, past the flamingos and through the eucalyptus woods, with a guide.

Nile crocodiles and big gardens about half an hour from town. We collect you from your hotel.

Medinas & markets
Ramparts, souks and big old squares: Marrakech and Essaouira for the day, or Agadir's own port and Souk El Had in a morning.
Marrakech is a long one: out at 7, home around 9.

Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia gardens, the souks and Jemaa el-Fna. Out 07:00, home around 21:00. Lunch isn't included.

Essaouira for the day
Goats in the argan trees on the way, then the port, the Skala ramparts and the medina with a guide, and free time. Lunch is up to you.

Agadir city tour
Three hours: the Marina, the fishing port, the view from Agadir Oufella, an argan cooperative and an hour in Souk El Had.

Palms, gorges & mountain villages
Inland the air changes. Palm-lined gorges up the Imouzzer road, the walls of Taroudant, granite villages around Tafraout.
In summer we go to Paradise Valley in the morning. The afternoons are scorching.

Taroudant's ramparts and souks, then the palm grove and kasbah at Tiout. Home by another road.

Granite country: the Ameln valley, the painted rocks near Tafraout, then Tiznit's silver medina.

Go slow
Not every day needs an engine. Steam and argan oil, a long dinner with music, a balloon at sunrise if the dates work.

Dinner under caidal tents — pastilla, couscous, mint tea — with musicians, dancers and fantasia riders.
